Sweet family, precious boys,…love this family! I’ve been photographing this family since Landan, the oldest child, was born. Last time I photographed them, Elijah was just born here. Amy and Spenser / Hunter Valley Farm

As much as I love shooting weddings, I also love to come alongside another photographer and do what we call, second shoot. I WISH I could claim this fabu-lo-so wedding as mine! All the details and location were incredible, and the wedding party was oh so fun! But the very talented and awesome Tracie Ancelet had me come alongside of her to shoot some details. And also to help do what any photographer cannot do, and that is to be everywhere at one time. So here are some of the highlights from Amy and Spenser’s wedding at the gorgeous Hunter Valley Farm. The reception was the first to be held in the newly renovated Barn that has been converted into an incredible space. I literally walked in and my jaw dropped! The place is amaaazzzing! Brides, check out this place and consider having your wedding and reception here. And no, Hunter Valley Farm did not ask me to say that. It really is incredible and gorgeous!

This has been a highly anticipated wedding for me! I deeply respect Garrett and Eva, and their love for people and Jesus is so contagious! They are both so loved by so many people! …I cannot tell you how many people have been asking me when these will be ready to see! So I hope that I do justice to accurately display their love and joy! I had an absolute BLAST and was freaking out all day every time I looked at the back of my camera as I saw these images. Without commenting on ever picture, because I think I posted close to 70 pictures, I will say ..I love them all! And going against what I normally do, I am posting their first looks first..because they are so precious to me!

Kuyper and Jenny

I don’t know what it is about photographing a wedding, but when I have finished all the editing and I finally get to share the images, it is so gratifying. Not be dramatic or anything, but I do feel like a marathon runner who has finally torn through that finish line ribbon. Okay, that was dramatic,…but true in a sense. I suppose it is because all the images are so unique and precious, that I just can’t wait for everyone else to share in my excitement! And this wedding for Kuyper and Jenny was just that. Incredibly memorable and exciting! It was an incredibly prefect and sunny day for March, and we got some amazing pictures to document the day. Kupyer and Jenny, I had a blast with you guys! My good friend and photographer Tracie Ancelet and I talked about swapping out some family pics for one another. We talked, then we put it in our calendars. Yes! Sweet mercy,..I was so excited! It is a rare, and when I say rare I mean NEVER, get pictures of our entire family. It is always Ryan and the kids, or just the kids..no mama in sight. And sometimes on a full moon I get a pic of me with the kids. So sad. So to say I was excited is an understatement. As the date approached I began to undergo the process of outfitting my family, two days before of course! I think I almost went into cardiac arrest trying to dress my family for pictures! I wanted to hug every one of my clients as I was running around the house throwing clothes everywhere from all our closets. It was madness! But oh so worth it. I love my pictures! I love that we are all 5 in the picture together. And since I adore all these people, I adore these pictures. I am a happy woman.

Beware, you will see pictures that look exactly the same as another. When it’s your family, every little change in expression or turn of the head is all precious and loved. Can I hear an amen?

My livvy lou. She’ll be 10 months December the 9th and I can hardly believe we get to love on this girl! She is such a joy to everyone…So stinking cute I could eat her little cheeks ! Love my Liv! Can’t imagine life without this little gem.

We missed getting a pic of just me and my Dean-o. He is the sweetest boy and at the same time all boy through and through. I love him dearly !
