Love this family! I have had the privilege to capture this family over several years and I always love to be around them. The kids are absolutely adorable to the max and Casey and Jonathan are always a joy to be around! Here is there sweet family session on a most perfect fall day!
I always love getting together with this family for pictures. John and Leah’s kids are just precious. Absolutely adorable together! Eli and Jenny are the sweetest brother and sister you’ll run into. It is adorable how much they love each other! So we got together one perfect fall afternoon and snagged some pictures of their sweet family!

I don’t know why or how, but 90% of the time I shoot a session or a wedding the weather is perfect. Perfect sun, perfect light, perfect weather. And then there is that yucky 10% where rain comes, or it’s just plain cold. Poor Sanders family, it just so happened that the day we met the weather was in that 10% bracket. It was cold. And cloudy. Oh yes, and windy. So a cold wind. The poor kiddies were freezing by the end of the hour!
But thankfully, because I sprinkled my photo pixie dust over them all, we got beautifully light, warm looking pictures! Yes, the stuff is that good. I was pretty stoked when I scrolled through the footage. You would not even know from the pictures that half the kids were crying 30 minutes into the shoot.
But aside from the weather…this family has the most blue eyes you’ve ever seen! I loved hanging out with them! Cold or not. I babysat Isabella, the oldest, when she was a teeny baby. Because she had the cutest baby arm rolls, I use to call her a baby glow worm…remember those dolls? So it was a blast to hang out with this bunch and getting to document the many blessings Jeff and Jenny have received from God over the years.

This one cracks me up. To get Jasper to look at me, I asked him if he could see my eyeball in my camera lens. So he really searched for it. I also was waving my hand in the air to get him to look up at me, so he raised his hand too. Hilarious!

I love this family session I took with Shawn and Katie! It was so fun and the boys were absolutely cracking me up the entire time. Shawn and Katie wanted to be sure to capture their family as they are in real life. Although they did want to lovely-everyone-smiling- pictures, they also wanted pictures that captured their life. Real life. Boys running around, snotty faces, kids clinging onto legs..that’s life with boys, right!? But most of all this family was not only real, but super fun! And they all loved to be with each other. We had a grand time downtown! It was a cold Saturday, but boys aren’t affected by weather, so they loved all the places we went. They even did some stellar posing for me.

LOVE this family! I had a complete blast being with Craig and Laura and their little gems. It made my day to spend some time with the Coopers. The children are so darling, and Craig and Laura’s joy is so contagious!
We hung around downtown getting some family pictures of their beloved Knoxville before they move to their new home in Nashville. They will be dearly missed!
